Through an exclusive bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond couples Nosler's proven copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core. The result is a bullet that flies true, penetrates deep and retains its weight, without causing extensive barrel fouling. The unique white polymer tip resists deforming and initiates expansion on impact. Nosler's Solid Base at the rear of the bullet acts as a platform for large diameter mushrooms.

The AccuBond Long Range (-LR) bullet line was developed for long-range hunters keeping up with today’s high-grade optics and ultra-high velocity cartridges in order to stretch practical shooting yardages past 1,000 yards yet still perform on big-game animals. The AccuBond-LR bullet was designed to have a minimum impact velocity of 1300fps to reliably expand (at much longer distances) compared to the 1800fps of all other Nosler hunting bullets. The lead core is bonded to the copper jacket and will hold up to extreme velocities for close range performance also. The copper jacket is tapered, meaning it is thin at the nose, becoming much thicker towards the boat-tail base.
